Community Participation in the Design Process

The LRM design team's approach is built on establishing strong working relationships with City Staff and interested citizens' groups. We recognize that, in our role as designers, we serve as facilitators of the community's visioning process, and that our unique skills and knowledge are tools to bring the community's vision to fruition and in an aesthetically pleasing and socially responsible fashion.

Community participation promotes advocacy, stewardship and awareness of the recreational, social and economic benefits of park facilities. During the design process, we establish an ongoing dialogue with the end users of the facility, foster an enivornment of credibility and trust, and work to build consensus among all interested parties.
